This shallower profile set is meant to inspire confidence in handling and speedier accelerations for those who feel like 58mm is too much wheel. The 1.9T, at 50mm, is sightly shallower than the extremely popular 2.3T. Perhaps you’ve tried deeper wheels and loved the stiffness, aerodynamic capabilities and the sound, but felt like you got blown around from time-to-time in crosswinds, or you weren’t able to put out the power to spin them up as fast as you’d like. The 1.9T maintains those traits you loved in a trimmed down package.

This wheelset maintains the performance attributes and durability of the 2.3T, but we dropped almost a half pound. When we’re categorizing riders, this wheelset is for those who are climbers, but still have the power to out kick the selection at the end of the race. You’re also the racer who can compete in most crits – you love stiff wheels, but you want easier acceleration out of the corners.
